Yes Yes I am going to take her to the Vet, but I just wanted to know... So her breath have been smelling bad recently i couldn't realize why, I mean I don't brush her teeth as much as I should, but I do at least 2 in 2 weeks. And I have this breath spray that cleans her mouth as well as deorderizes it.

This is even worse so when whe was panting right in front of my face, that is how i saw it, but it's not just rotton, it craked in the middle, so like the tooth is split in half, I mean she doesn't seem to have a problem with it, she eats, and chews her bones and plays all the same.

So my question is what are the Vets going to do you think? How can I prevent this from happening to my others dogs except brushing it regularly.

People can't even totally get rid of cavitys even if they brush 3 times a day, sometimes it just happens. As for your poochie it is the same thing in a way except dogs put more stufff in there mouth than we do, I HOPE, the bacteria they find out side, the sticks they chew, the butts they lick, get my point. The vet will prob want to pull the tooth but one thing you can do is make sure she has only doggie chew toys and not sticks or pinecones, things that can over time break a tooth. It is natural for them to just chew for no other reason but chew, I give my dogs rawhide chews and it does the job with what they need plus they thing they are getting a treat and it helps with their breath.

It depends on how bad the tooth is and which tooth it is - last summer my lab broke a molar and that had to be taken out. This spring she fractured a canine and the decision was that it would be better to root canal the tooth rather than remove it as it has a 40 mm root on it (almost 2 inches) that curves up toward her eye. My recommendation is to take the dog to the vet or even phone and ask for a referral to a specialist that does vetinarary dental work. We ended up having the work done at a vet school (still expensive but she's part of the family)!

Well no matter what you can't help dogs breathe being awful, lol but what we did was we got our dog food that 'brushes teeth and helps it stay clean' and its defently worked a lot, and mabye she hate a dead animal (that happend with our dog once and he had the nastiest breathe ever) but yeah taking her to the vet is good. But im not sure what the vet would say, they have to investagate the problem. (and melrix_2000 had a really good point about the teeth)

Sounds like the tooth will need to be removed. I would look at what the dogs are chewing on or how hard the dog food is that they are eating.

The vet will pull her tooth, clean them and charge you about $300. Well that is what is cost me in Seattle, WA for my cat.
Good luck with this one.
God Bless
