Try either applying less or more pressure (and keeping your lips closed around it)moving slowly from the back towards the front teeth. I've had the sensation too, you can adjust it by the amount of pressure you use with the toothbrush against the teeth. I have a sonicare which is the type I've used for the past fifteen years or so. If you are new to using one, check to make sure you didn't remove the rings that reduce the vibration when you first start to use it. They are colored plastic just below the head on the sonicare. They may or may not be on the style your using. If they are, just make sure you have them on until your used to using the sonicare. Give it time, you'll get use to it! Hope I've been of some help. Good luck!
