Dental - January 2007

I told my girlfriend I would get any color on my braces she wanted. Of course being a girlie girl she said, hot pink! The big day is Weds. and I am having second thoughts. It wouldn't be a big deal to me, but what about when I am with "the guys." Am I over thinking/worrying about this too much? I think they might look good, hell your gums are pink!

i had a rootcanal done last year around this time and now my tooth
the one i had the job done on hurts again , when cold hits and hot but it hurts more with cold, why does it hurt isnt my tooth suppose to be dead? do i have to get the job done again>?

I have lost all my back teeth on the bottom on both sides, the dentist has given me a partial to wear but ever time i try to wear it, i start to gag. any suggestions?

Soon, I am gettin braces! but i have to have 3 teeth out, because of over crowding.
I'm getting it done at my local dentists, and i'm not sure if i'm going to get numbed, or put to sleep, but either way, do you think it will hurt alot? because i'm not too good with pain. :p x

Help me please! I'm 12, and i'm getting braces in april, fixed ones. I think i'm getting bottom and top, not sure. but anyway, i have greenish eyes and a dark ginger/ourburn hair. What colours would suit me, or should i stick with clear?

I got my braces off, eh, a month and a half ago or so, and my teeth were doing great. I still have a very small, kinda unnoticible gap between my two front teeth, and I have had that since I was little, but I want it to go away. I have a clear retainer, but I don't know if that will do much? Will it? And are there any procedures I can get to get them closed? thanks!

Somewhat recently and suddenly my gums have turned purple. The gums covering my teeth and the roots appear to be normal and pink but above that the gums and inside of my lip has turned purple. The gums up above my teeth have also sunk back a little bit. This is happening on top and bottom. I saw a dentist and he said it looked normal with no signs of gum disease. I explained to him my gums were pink and thick above my teeth and now they are purple and much thinner. I am only 26 could this be aging?

i occassionally have to give it a squeeze and some rank pus comes out of it. every year or so it swells up to the size of a golf ball (almost) it hasnt done this for well over a year so ive put off getting a dentist looking at it. ive probably had the abcess off and on for around 5 yrs and a dentist did look at it when i first got it and received antibiotics which got rid of it then. if the swelling gets bad i take ibuprofen and it goes away. im not too bothered about getting it fixed its just im worried if there are any long term health risks involved as i read somewhere about how abcesses can place a strain on the heart but i think im just paranoid. basically the question is - do i have any long term worries?

Everytime when i am having my monthly period(menstruation period) the blood have a smell that is really irritating and making me uncomfortable,the smell becomes clear when i am looking forward to finish,the smell is like of a wet cloth being kept for a long time without being dried,what can be the cause?

when i was a baby i had a few infections so i had to take a lot of antibiotics which wore down the enamel on my teeth and now i have a yellow spot on one of my front teeth and a yellow spot on one of my bottom teeth.does anyone know how to get rid of these or make them less noticable?
