I have something installed behind my front teeth, and it prevents me from chewing food. When I chew, no matter what food, as long as it's solid, gets stuck in the device. What are some good foods to keep me full and healthy while I wear this device?

Something that I used to offer my patients with issues of inappropriate nutrition was Ensure shakes. They come in cans and many flavors and are really quite tasty. They offer everything that you would be missing from eating regular food. Along with that, there are broths, puree soups, puddings, jellos, ice cream, sherbert, smoothies, juice. Just get creative. There is enough protein in the ensure shakes that you don't have to worry about the rest of the meals, Or you can buy protein powder and add it to smoothies. Good luck.

If you use a blender, you can puree a large variety of foods. (Just about anything that doesn't have bones.) You must add enough fluid to the blender before you add the solid food.

When have to force-feed my rabbit (to treat G-I Stasis) I make her a slurry of raw lettuce and celery. I put water the the blender, then add finely chopped celery and small pieces of lettuce, and blend. This is smooth enough to put through a large syringe, so I'm sure it would pass through a straw.

If you can handle a fine paste, like mashed potatoes, you can make those in a food processor:
When my neighbor couldn't eat solid food, I made her a salmon puree. I took baked salmon and processed it with the juice that collected in the baking dish. It was smooth like baby food.

Baby food is an option if you don't want to blend your own foods.

Pasta; soup (especially vegetable soup, vegetables cooked soft); scrambled eggs; yogurt; custard; ice cream; soufflees - good if you have a hankering for cheese, and I've had very good soufflee made with tinned tuna fish, surprisingly ... in your place I'd have a hankering for meat, which would be hard to satisfy, but I'd try making a good savoury stew and pureeing it in the blender out of desperation. Oh - and sticky toffee pudding. There have to be some compensations.

You can buy Ensure at a pharmacy. It's a drink that has all the calories etc. you'd get in a complete meal. It comes in quite a few flavours. I drank it for almost a week when I had a molar removed.

put an entire meal into your blender....make it nice and smoothy and you can drink the meal without having anything stuck in the contraption. I've never tried this and it sounds bad, but it is an option
