dentist recommend you change your toothbrushes every 3 months and also when you are sick you should also change your toothbrushes after you feel better. The longer you use your toothbrushes, it will lose its abnility to clean off the plaque from your teeth

I have heard that you are suppose to toss a toothbrush every 90 days. If you use one while sick either boil it to kill the germs or toss it in the garbage and get a new one.

About every 3 months, except when you have been ill (cold, flu etc) then straight after that, as it may still have germs on it and re-infect you!
