I had my wisdom tooth pulled on Tuesday because it was infected. I was given a perscription that I couldn't take and I talked him into giving me a different antibiotic. I am three days now on that and everything seems normal except for where the tooth was pulled. Nothing hurts and the clot is gone and everything seems to be healing except there are white pockets on the gum. I know when I had my abscess it was very painful and swollen red with nasty tasting puss. Is the antibiotic working and the infection is going away? I lost my dentist over the dispute with the antibiotics but I know my body better than him. I just want to know if i should be worried. I am eating on that side and all is well but i don't want it to get any worse like it was before. I have 3 days left on the antibiotics. What should I be expecting?
