THE BURNING OF THE TONGUE COMPLEYELY HEALS AFTER A FEW WEEKS. THERE IS NO LIFE-LONG EFFECT.

PS. DO YOU ALWAYS GULP HOT DRINKS W/O LETTING YOUR LIPS TELL YOU THE TEMPERATURE OF THE DRINK?

The burn on your tongue will heal and there will be no scars per se. The mouth heals faster than another part of the body.
