They have to have lost all of their baby teeth & had all of their adult teeth come in.

I would say when the child in question has most of his adult teeth which is different for each child.

i think you need at least four "grown up" teeth before you can get braces, if your baby teeth are crooked it really doesnt matter because they will fall out.

i had friends with braces in third grade... i think it just depends on the person.
