it is better to floss your teeth before brushing it. because it gets the plaque out first and then brush it away. I recommend your floss your teeth and brush before bedtime.

You know, this so called Dr. Albert DDS really has a bad attitude. I have to wonder with that remark if he really is a dentist, must not be much of one or very busy since he's always here giving his two cents worth. Or is it just something against Americans, I wonder?
Oh well, to answer your question, either way is OK as long as your teeth get cleaned. I always brush first and then floss. If I find that my floss is removing food particles that my brushing missed, like you get after eating ribs or corn on the cob, then I brush again. So it's up to you as long as the cleaning between the teeth and below the gum is sufficient to remove all food particles and plaque. When I was in college this question came up and the answer we were given was, It doesn't matter when so long as you do. Hope I was of some help with this question. Was this answer satisfactory for you Dr Albert DDS?

My dentist recommends to first brush and then floss and after that you have to absolutely rinse your mouth,so you can remove whatever is left after the flossing.I think is logical too, because if you floss first and then brush, all you will do is stuff back little bits between your teeth again. Why don't you do it either way and check the results your self?!

you're dropping your money on a $200 toothbrush. The $20 Oral-B toothbrushes, whilst used appropriate, get your enamel only as clean. you're able to desire to take stable care of your enamel regardless. there is not any evaluate having great white enamel in the event that they're decayed and you have periodontal ailment. So brush a minimum of two times an afternoon and floss daily and get prevalent cleanings. Bleaching works nicely on maximum people who've coffee/tea/nutrition stains. : )

Its better for you to floss before you brush your teeth. There is plaque and bacteria between your teeth you miss when you brush, so if you brush before you floss your breath will be worse because that bacteria you create will go all over your mouth again. I def. recommend flossing before you brush.

The health of your teeth and gums, or lack thereof, directly affects your heart. In fact, dental hygeine is so poor in England that most heart attacks are a result of their rotting teeth! Those heart attack patients are treated with antibiotics to cure the infections in their heart tissue and mouths! Yuck!!
You really should do some research. Check out "YOU: the owners manual" to learn about your body.

My dentist recommends flossing first, so you can loosen all the particles between your teeth before brushing them away.
