tea has caffeine and yes can stain your teeth (esp if you drink it black). I would think 6 cups a day would be ok, as long as the caffeine doesn't bother you and you are still drinking water too.

Tea can stain your teeth, but it's not unhealthy for them at all.
If you drink a lot of caffeinated tea, you may experience an uncomfortable jittery feeling, and can experience withdrawal headaches when you don't have the same amount one day.
Decaf and herbal (naturally decaf) teas are fine to drink as much as you like. :)

I was also doing the same
but later some one advised me not to do so
as taking hot tea today may not effect you in your young age as body vitals are strong.
but some time at later age say 50-60 the after effects are visible as it can damage your teeth which become yellow& can damage your liver & associated organs.
but dont leave this habbit. take normal hot tea regularly twice a day
because it is very good for heart.

I think most things you eat affect your teeth. You can eat or drink too much of anything, even water(you can actally die from drinking too much, but you'd have to drink an awful lot!). If you drink a lot of tea, try not to use much sugar.

I drink warm tea for all time. Even throughout the time of summer (thank God for aircon). Earl gray, eco-friendly, and chamomile are superb. eco-friendly tea has antioxidants and a lot less caffeine then Earl gray. Chamomile has no caffeine and has a chilled result. and in spite of in case you drank all of them right now, i will not help yet imagine it really is nonetheless in good structure then an potential drink. savour your tea!

Since you can drink too much water and go into hypervolemic shock and die, same goes for tea. Too much tea would also result in an abundance of tannin staining your teeth.
I hope this answer is what you were looking for.

You can't drink too much tea, there is no problem and can actually help you stay hydrated if you dont load it up with sugar, as far as your teath it could stain them, but nothing more than that.
