Yes... The hole will close up. Just be sure to follow your dentist instructions so that it stays clean and you do not develop a dry socket which could be very painful... Give it a few days. it will get better. Keep taken the pain pills too!

Having a tooth pulled is not a lot of fun, no matter what the reason. If you have all of your adult teeth, then no new tooth will grow to fill in that space. Your other teeth may move around some in your mouth and take part of the space. You should talk to your dentist about having an implant or a "bridge" put in.

The hole will not be totally gone, but it will be filled with some flesh tissue. In time you won't know it is there -- or not there ;)
Don't blame the toothpaste, but the lack of brushing and flossing your teeth. If you brush and floss correctly, every single day, at least once a day, you don't even have to use toothpaste! Of course, there are lots of pros in using the toothpaste, such as extra protection against cavity, whitening of the teeth, etc...

Do you mean the hole of the extraction site or the empty space it leaves?. The empty space will remain, but the extraction hole will heal and pull together.but there will still be a space there.
I don't know, so may people are faithful to brushing, flossing going for check ups and it still happens. If all this can avoid cavities and teeth still gone bad, why the need for so many dentist.? It does happen no matter how well you take care of your teeth.

The hole will fill in nicely unless a great deal of bone had to be removed. Most all toothpaste will work as long as it is used regularly. The hole can also be filled in with a fixed bridge or an implant.

Blame it on your lack of flossing. The hole in your gum will be filled in with gelataneous flesh material.
