I had my back molar pulled. They broke it badly while they were pulling it. They had to cut into the gums to get the rest of the roots out. I am on massive antibiotics, but the gums still became infected. To top it all off, the hole does NOT seem to be closing. Looks like this situation might be what they call "dry socket". I am getting food constantly caught in there, which is in turn causing more pain.

Has anyone else had this problem and did the gums eventually close over and heal properly? Thanks.

I had to suffer 2 1/2 years because of my braces. Finally they recently were removed. I received 6 x white stuff with a wire behind my lower teeth. The next time they will do the same with the upper teeth. The orthodontist told me that I will need this retainer forever because my teeth could become crooked again.

How should the teeth move by their selves?

Does anybody got crooked teeth without a retainer?

Is this really necessary?

What did your orthodontist told you?

The permanent wire on the back of my bottom teeth broke off on one side. I removed as much of the wire as I could, but now I have a sharp end slicing into my tongue. How do I remove the glue so I can get rid of the rest of the wire?

i got my braces off and i'm wearing a retainer only during nights, is it okay to use them? i didn't know if wearing the retainer would give me blotchy spots on my teeth. I wear the Plastic retainer not the wire one(on top) the bottom is wire.

I'm thinking about getting invisalign to close the gaps in my teeth. So, is getting invisalign a waste of money or what? How much did you spend on your treatment for invisalign for those who've had it?

okay, i dont know that i did...but my teeth are just naturally screwed...they are the ugliest teeth i've ever seen and i really want braces for it...but i know it will hurt ALOT becuase my friends told me that its killing them....and also, its very expensive....our family isnt rich and i dont want to waste my dads money...if i get braces, i might have to take a few teeth out since theres not alot of space...and yes, again, its very expensive.....im scared it'll hurt becuase many ppl told me it hurts alot... does it really hurt that much?

About 2 weeks ago I had a completely impacted wisdom tooth pulled. Anyhow, there is still a small hole where the surgery took place, and it is still a little bothersome because food gets stuck in the hole. About how long should it take for the hole to close up completely?

I've noticed that recently I've developed really bad breath. I've tried changing my diet. Tried changing my toothpaste. Tried changing my mouthwash. I've even tried brushing my teeth three times day.

Im even going to stop rimming arseholes for a week.

Can anyone recommend any nice mints?

I have a snaggle tooth ala jewel and I was considering lumineers over traditional veneers. They say there is less drilling and less pain.
has anyone gotten this done and how did it work out?

Out of all the people who have retainers, any idea of the percentage of people, more specifically teenagers, who wear them ACTIVELY?

I barely ever wear mine, and I don't know anyone who really wears their retainers that often.
