it will not harm your teeth, however if you have all porcelain crowns,( crowns without metal substructure), there is the possibility that you could shock the porcelain and fracture it, it's unlikely for this to happen, but it could, just wait a few seconds between the hot and cold if this is the case and it should not be a problem.
