Well it kind of does. First they pull the brackets off your teeth and that hurts a little.....but the part that hurts most is when they take the cement off your teeth. They do that by taking this drill thingy and that hurts but over all its not that bad i guess...good luck and wear your retainor!

Nope! They are a little sore after but a tylenol works great! They just twist the brackets to break the glue and it sounds worse than it is! No problem! Besides the aches getting them on is a lot worse and it feels great and weird to have nothing on!

I dont remember mine hurting when they came off but they hurt like hell a few weeks after I got them on.If you handeled that you can handle getting them off.
