I had braces a couple of years ago and I want to say mine cost around $2000 however I did not have very bad teeth to begin with so I did not have them on very long. With out knowing what condition your teeth are in it would be imposable to guess a price range. I would suggest that you make a few different appointments with orthodontists in your area they should be able to give you a least a ball park figure. Another thing to consider is that most orthodontists will make payment plans with you. As far as braces behind your teeth you can do this but I personally would not recommend it because I think it would be allot harder to keep clean.

In the end, my plain normal metal braces were a total of 3000. I think anything else as a substitute for metal ones will be expensive and I just don't see the point with metal wires and brackets having a possibility of falling off and there only on for 1 and half years if you take care of your teeth. Your dentist knows, talk to them. No, if you have bad teeth, chances are you'll need and get it on top and bottom. You have to do it to all your teeth for they all take part in a straight smile. It's awkward and it hurts but it really worth it. Once you finally get your retainer life will be smooth move.

It all depends on your treatment plan. I had two stages (F.Y.I I got my braces on when I was 8 got them off when I was 15.) My cost between 2,000-2,500 but like I said it depends on your treatment plan and who your doctor.Long story short when I smiled one of my front teeth stuck between my lips. And not all of my baby had fallen out and I was pretty young to be getting breaces but, my teeth where all messed up. For most people they will had them on for two to three years. So far I haven't seen anybody with behind their teeth. They only way I have heard that people won't notice your braces are those one that they call invisa smile or something like that. They are just a clear mold of your teeth ant they will change the mold every couple weeks. Let's just say that if you go with the metal braces the first couple days are pretty much h*** because your teeth are being forced to move. And I might also add that liquids will be your best friend. (painkiller will only take off a slight edge of pain but, most can't even touch it.) And when they tighten your braces they will hurt. Your speech will suck and you might salivate a lot for a few days until you get use to them. Beware the power the chain. It will link at the brackets together and close the space in between your teeth. Until you get used to people will to notice your speech is different. I notice people with braces because I have had them. People may or may not notice them it just depend on how often you flash your teeth. But for the cost of it and pain won't be nice to go up to the person you like and flash a big pearly white even, straight, teeth smile at them or have more confident when people take your picture.

The price can vary from about $2000-$6000 depending on how bad your teeth are and who you go to. It is possible to get them behind the teeth or Invisalign, but those cost more. There's also clear ceramic brackets that are available, but I'd stick with the traditional metal braces that are bonded to the "front" of the teeth...they're much easier to work with.

i don't think you can get braces behind your teeth. The price all depends if your going to get both top and bottom or just bottom or top, alone. It's usually 3000 to 5000 dollars. Mine cost $615. If you do get them behind your teeth, they will be noticeable, your mouth will be popping out. Just get invisiline, like LittleMamGee said to do

usually around 3000 unless you get the clear kind or invisaline. i had regular ones and discoverd that silver ones are less noticable than colors. so DON'T GET COLORS if you have to get the reg ones!
