According to a survey our website did a while back of people all over the US, the average cost of a usual 24 month treatment of full braces is $5,000. That usually includes the cost of one set of retainers.

usually cost anywhere from 3,000 - 8,000. It all depends on your orthodontist and his or her prices and how much work your teeth needs. If you have dental insurance, sometimes they cover a part of it, mine covered about 1,000 for my braces. IF you have to pay 5,000 dollars or more for braces, I would suggest getting a second opininon with another orthodontist because prices do differ.Obviously someone who has braces for a year in comparsion to one who has it for 5 years, the price is going to be different. Usually you pay a downpayment, and then make monthly installments. I had braces and I had mine for 2 years and it cost 3,500 but its worth it, and the insurance covered 1,000 so it helped.. I have a great smile. and I used to have an overbite and a gap between my 2 front teeth, now people always tell me i have the nicest teeth, and i laugh because i certainly wasn't born that way.
