My sisters teeth get cavities so easily. She barely ever eats any sugar and her teeth get brushed two times a day. She eats very healthy. Does anyone know why they are so bad, like, what could cause it?

one side of my jaw clicks when i chew or open and close my mouth little wide. don't you guys say "don't do it then" because that is a serious question. my dentist seemed like it was not a big deal, my chiropracter tried couple stuff, but it did not help either. any suggestions?

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, USA and never heard primary dentition referred to as "milk teeth". Is this a regional expression, or perhaps a European term? Does one even need teeth to drink milk?

I have read though some posts about general anesthesia already so it sounds like you go right to sleep when they get that needle in your arm. Questions:
1. How do they keep you sleeping?
2. How do they wake you up?
3. Is laughing gas used at all during surgery?

How did anyone react when someone said that your breath may not be on point? Is there a way to approach this without hurting someone's feelings? And no, I am not the one with the problem breath but how can I approach someone about their situation?

I am 23 and while growing up my family couldn't afford a dentist for me so I basically didn't know the proper way to take care of my teeth! And now the effects are catching up to me! I had work done on some of my bottom back teeth and four of my bottom teeth are crooked...is there any other way to fix them? I heard it would be difficult to get braces if your teeth are not natural!

My question is actually how do I get my gums behind my lip where the piercing was, to heal back to how it was before. The piercing pushed my gums away from my teeth & it wont grow back onto the bottom of my teeth leaving the teeth exposed almost to the root. there is no pain now but when I brush those teeth too hard to try & remove plaque, it bleeds a bit & I stop.

I really dont want to see a doctor.
