I brush and gargle, my dentist told me to floss often and I was told by one dentist that I was in the early stages of a peridontal disease and the new one I went to said no and that what I have is reversible with flossing, but I have this bad breathe. what could it be? If it is halitosis could I have gotton it from my ex? who often had bad breathe? Is halitosis treatable? How do u get it? Is it a doctor or dentist problem?

I reminded her before I left this morning. I called her workplace at 3:10 and they said she just left so I drove down the street to get her but couldn't find her. Will the dentist bill me? I didn't actually confirm the appointment because I kept forgetting to.

I have several teeth that have cavities.I dread going to the dentist .Is it possible for me to ask the dentist to take care of several teeth in one appointment? For example :he could take care of three teeth in one side of the mouth in a two hour appointment. Is that possible ?
I am just asking because I've noticed that everytime i go to the dentist he always takes care of only one teeth and then the next appointment is about the same teeth and so on...

I had a molar pulled on thursday afternoon. It still is painful this morning. I have a big knot where they gave me the shot to numb it. Is this normal? I will go back to the dentist, but he's not in today.

I'm not familiar with all the techinical terms/names for teeth, so bare with me.

My very first molar on my left side is loose. It's a baby tooth, there's no adult for it. Whenever I floss my teeth or eat something really hard and crunchy (granola bars) it feels looser and hurts a little. I'm 21, and it's been going on for some time now, slowly getting looser. I'm just wondering... when it does fall out, what are some options I have that aren't expensive (anything under 500$) to replace the lost tooth?

I also have one on my right side...the small tooth next to my two front teeth fell out when I was 12, but there was no adult for it, so when my canine fell out and the adult came in, it took the place of the small tooth, so now there's a space between my canine and my first molar, on the right side. The space is a bit smaller, 1/8" wide, so I don't know if they can put a tooth in. What would be my options for that space?

I have TMJ I think. My jaw pops everytime I open it. It started about 3 years ago after I had my wisdom teeth pulled. I called the specialist my dentist recommended and they want $1400 just to evaluate me and see if I have it. Then another 1,000 for the next visit and then more money that I don't have. Is there anything that I can do for it? It is getting worse. My ears are now bothering me as a result of it, and I'm scared that my jaw will start to lock up if I don't do something. Please I just want sincere answers from someone who might know what to do. Going to the specialist is out of the question because I have 4 children, and I can't afford it.

What is the difference between Private and NHS dentists charges? I'm with a National Health Dentist but always get charged for work done. He's quite far away and I would like to change to someone nearer, but expect I will have to go private, how will this affect costs?

I know Ibuprofen is bad for you long term, but for a few days would it be bad to take as much as 4000mg per day (total)? I'm 6'1 and 235lbs... a big boy.

Im 34 and had one baby tooth left. They pulled it 24 hours ago and the tooth broke apart. They had to go digging for the root. Ouch.

They told me 400mg 3x a day. I'm going 800+mg every 2 hours.

I hurt and it does not seem to be getting better (24 hours).

Is this normal? Should I get different meds?

I do not do pain well as is. My 4 wisdom teeth pulled at once had be on bed on drugs, for 7 days.

Thanks. :-)
