Stay still and quiet if you can, ice, and rest. It will pass. I just had one last week.

It takes some time for the vicodin to kick in, but after a few hours of taking the medicine if you still feel bad call your dentist back to see if he can prescribe something stronger.

I had 3 of my wisdom teeth removed and i used ice to num my face but what also helps to wash you mouth with salt n water every time you eat .Im also a dentist asst so ive learn alot but if the pain gets worst you may want to call the doc so they give you a bigger dose.Keep in mind the the first days will be painful but if you take the medication as indicated you will heal faster.

Vicodin is pretty strong. If that doesn't help, why don't you give his office a call? Something may be wrong. I have had teeth pulled, I don't' think you should be in that much pain.

Hope you feel better soon.

Try adding Advil, alternate it with the Vicodin. Call the dentist if it doesn't get better.

Try ice, but really you should go talk to your pharmacist or call the dentists office and have him call another prescription into you pharmacy for you. I doubt that any over the counter meds would help.

vicodin doesn't work for me either - try some advil 200mg gel tabs...

or drink a beer in hopes to get that vicodin to kick in...
