i had the same problem and a friend in the health field told me to go and see a dentist as mouth bad smells are usually caused by ones teeth or not healthy gums.
So I went to the dentist and he found a huge hole due to a filling which had fallen out, which was catching food. I got that fixed but I still had bad breath. My partner wouldnt even kiss me cause of it. I still thou afterward the filling, had the bad breath.
Ive since been to a second dentist and found out that I have only a tiny space between my wisdome teeth and the back of my mouth..and food is getting lodged there. Cause of it being a very small area, i cant get the tooth brush in there properly either, so now have been advised to get my wisdom teeth out to fix the problem and hence also the bad breath problem.
Its best to see a dentist or even a second one if you havent done already in case the first one missed the problem.
oh and flossing is very important.. otherwise You are missing cleaning a large surface area of the mouth.

Brush with Arm & Hammer baking soda (they also make toothpaste). It absorbs odour and cleans well.
Secondly, floss every day. Flossing is way overlooked but so important to the health of your gums and teeth. I cannot stress this enough.
When food decays inbetween your teeth, it not only rots the teeth away, it rots the gums and you build up harmful toxins in your mouth which enter your bloodstream.
Gum disease smells like rotting flesh - because it is.
You can also buy peppermint capsules - you swallow them whole and so every breath you breathe smells of peppermint. They also aid digestion.

Bad breath tends to come from an accumulation of food on the tongue. Try tongue scraping and stay away from mouthwashes that are high in alcohol content. It further dries out the mouth. If you have dry mouth along with bad breath, try munching on something hard to get your salivary glands going.

Good dental hygiene is the best way to keep your breath fresh. Brush, floss, and make sure to brush/clean your tongue well. Rinse with a mouthwash. There's one called Lavoris that works particularly well. Stay away from foods with strong odors and most of all, DON"T SMOKE!

home remedy book says to watch your diet, many things we eat can cause bad breath, meaning it comes from the stomach.........also drink plenty of fluids, brush and floss. I know that flossing regurlary will minimize the smell. if you have any teeth with cavities or tartar get it taken care of before your teeth go bad

Most of the time it is the decaying food stucked in decayed teeth. See a dentist for cleaning and filling-in.

- floss
- buy a tongue scraper
- brush better
- use a germ killing mouth wash
If that doesn't work, may be it is not the mouth itself that smells bad.
