why is it that they always wanna ask you a question, when they are cleaning your teeth....lol does that make any sence , like u can really answer them....

well they usually ask you yes or no questions and it's supposed to relax you

Because it's really boring sitting silent looking in peoples mouths one after another. Did you know dentists have a very high rate of illness due to work related stress as it is. Or would you rather they sit there and talk about what they did last night with there technician and ignore you, just sit there prodding your mouth

My dentist can understand the garbled sounds, I think he just got used to hearing it and learned to translate!

i just hate it when you tell them you are choking and they say you will be ok..whats with that....i was so sick once and i couldnt breath from my nose and they put that putty stuff in my mouth to take a impression and i couldnt breath and i was choking and i try to tell him i was and all he could say was you will be ok...I think i was turning blue
