If htat is indeed what it smells like, she's a smoker & it's caused by her smoking. Smokers don't care, they're adicted to the most adictive substance on earth & until they're ready, they're not going to quit. I have to tell you tho, finding out what my breath smelled like gave me the motivation to quit.
If she's not a smoker & that's just the worste smelling thing you could think of, Hydrogen Peroxide w/ help her! Pull her aside & tell her straight out, w/ compasion & a bottle of peroxide. Suggest that she go use it & see. No swishing! Just hold it in your mouth, putting it all over. It'll bubble & fizz, but the more fizz.... the more it's working!

Just bring some sugar-free breath mints to work and offer her one. Better yet tell her she has bad breath. There are nice ways to say this without trying to hurt her feelings. Some times people have bad breath because of health problems. Bad breath is a common problem and is nothing to be ashamed of.

Just kind of pull her to the side. BE NICE though. Tell her like you would want me to tell you. You know, something like " I'm really sorry but your breath doesn't smell very nice. I didn't want to hurt your feelings but I would want someone to tell me. " If shes a descent person she won't be offended. I used to work in a factory and pull girls aside all the time to tell them "Pull your pants up the whole world can see your crack!" It just depends on well you know her.

Leave a bottle of mouthwash on her desk. Keep doing it until she gets the idea. If that doesn't work, wear a gas mask.

You don't. You hold your breath and your tongue and show respect for your elders. Didn't your parents teach you anything?
