I asked myself the same thing two weeks ago. The fact that I have braces now should answer the question. Dont sweat it. I was all nervous about it and everything but now im glad I got them. I dont even notice them anymore. Suprisingly, I have had compliments on them. People think their cute. People have told me that they like them and how cute I look and everything. Its such a big deal to the person, but no ones notices. My advice is to just relax and go for it. Then be happy with your decision. Its totally worth it and im enjoying the time im wearing them. Im also looking forward to the beautiful perfect smile im going to have.

Yes they are ! also the dentist corrected my sons lisp with a appliance. He is 24 yrs old now and has beatiful straight teeth and he was in braces for 4 years. And no lisp. Yes it hurts at times and may even get frustrated but can't beat a beautiful smile and you will take better care of your teeth, gums you will be glad when its all said and done. I have a 15 yr old with braces on now and he is having a difficult time but he also has seen improvement in the 6 mos and is realizing it is worth it.

I will say yes even though I had a bad experience with them. I got my braces back when my dentist swore that my wisdom teeth would have enough room to come in. WRONG. my top row of teeth are ever so slightly crooked (you would never really know unless you were to closely examine them). but...my bottom row of teeth are all screwed up. my wisdom teeth had little to no room to come in properly and now from canine to canine they're all crooked. but, I am getting it taken care of here soon. and I'm sure we all know what that means...yup, you got it - I'll be getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled and then I'm getting invisaline with my own pocket money. it will be worth it though.

My answer to your question is yes Having braces can really help you and it's worth it. trust me after you have those removed after lik 2 years or so you teeth will not be crooked they'll be a little whiter than usual and there won't be any overlapping teeth.

I had bracework between the a lengthy time period of 11 and 20. throughout the time of that aspect it replaced right into slightly stressful and my social existence suffered slightly for it. besides the undeniable fact that it replaced into all properly worth it even as they were bumped off. i imagine the most eye-catching ingredient on someone is their smile - and once you've undesirable tooth then you definately're doomed. trust me - there's a huge astounding gentle on the authentic of the tunnel.

I think that depends on the person. They're primarily for vanity, so if you think maximizing your appearance in the future is more important than looking good now, I'd say go for it. I'd never go after a girl with horrible teeth.
