My podiatrist says it would be advisable to have the side bits of my left big toe nail removed and leave the top part of the nail to 'protect' the top my toe. (I can see the logic in that)
I'm a chicken - I hate pain.
Has anyone had this 'operation' done?
How long till I can wear shoes?
How long till I can walk without a limp?

He quit his job and already had some health issues, and is now only getting iller. My dad is pushing him to go out and look for work because my bro has a car and some debts he has to pay for, and we can't afford to help him (we're a fairly poor family). My bro is seeing a doctor and has been prescribed meds, but I'm wondering if urging him to go out and take on job hunting is the right thing. He says he just can't make his body do it and I'm worried that my dad's pushiness about it will only make his depression worse (dad thinks he'll help him by making him get off the couch). Problem is, my dad is from an era that doesnt think depression is such a serious sickness. He loves my bro SO much and hates to see him feeling so terrible, but I don't think he really grasps the concept of "depression" as a sickness. How can I explain this to him and convince him to lay off urging my bro to seek a job? Or is that the right thing to do? Please help!

I am a few days late. This morning I discovered that I had an unsual brown discharge, just a little, instead of blood. I immediately took a pregnancy test and it showed negative. I am just worried. I did not have intercourse whatsoever but I did dry humped with my boyfriend last week. I was naked but he had shorts and underwear on. He didn't ejaculate. I don't think I am pregnant but I would love to know what is this brown discharge? Is it normal?

I know that panic attacks can have effects that make you feel like you're having a heart attack ie-pain in chest. But i'm just wondering if pain shooting down the left arm is also one? And for a woman? Bc i know that this is usually a sign for men/heart attack.

I have been diagnosed bipolar in the past, but it is always after less than a hour of the doctor meeting me... more like 15 minutes. I do not feel that the bipolar diagnosis is a properly fitting diagnosis for my situation.
Isn't there more involved when making a diagnosis, rather than 15 minutes?

today i have these shot thingys for a pet, and one of the shots which had medicine had been pushed, and all the medicine went into the cap (that is over the needle for protection) and i was trying to pull out the shot out of the cap so i could suck the stuff back into the needle but it wouldnt come out, so i pulled hard and it came out the needle poked my finger, and that needle had medicine on it, so i squeezed my finger, and it bled, and i rinsed it off and put hydrogine poroxide on it, and not one bubble came out, but it bled so i put a bandaid on it.
now this was an animals shot, NOT USED at all yet,
later after that, my fingers and hand tingled and ached, and now they feel fine, i had no other effedts, i ate and nothing happend or anything, everything normal, but i was told that the stuff on the needle was animal pain medicine, and im wandering will it do anything bad to me later on???
cuz all that happend was tingling and aches, but now its gone, is everything gonna be okay???

Okay, i know i am THE most annoying person in the world, but at the moment i dont really care... i'm not anerxic too. but when i wake up its like my stomach is full, but my mom forcuses me to eat breakfast and when i eat its like u know when u eat so much u feel like barfing. and i'm not anerxic because i eat a lot of food in lunch and dinner. I mean a lot. and sometimes at night i'm hungry but when i wake up i'm like full if like ate like breakfast already. but that is when i wake up at like 7 am but when i'm off for break and iwake up at like 10 i have a appetite, can anyone explain this. is there a way to make me eat more for breakfast?

My wife is a 2 time breast cancer survivor at only 41 yrs of age. She recently had a mastectomy and is cancer fee now!! She is in the process of reconstruction. All of this is wonderful! Since she was diagnosed the first time...we have gave money to all sorts of breast cancer fund raising things. Now....during this second bout.......she lost alot of work time during her surgeries and so forth..........does anyone know of anyplace we could get some financial assistance? The bills are now piling up and I am here to tell you...that just adds insult to injury. We do have insurance and they covered alot of it....but certainly not all of it. If anyone could point us in the right direction for some type of help I would sure appreciate it. She has been through enough. I know all of the fund raising things being done for breast cancer have to go somewhere. Thanks to any and all for whatever information you can give me

RIght now I'm allergic to ant bites. Like if an ant bites me, like even a regular black ant, the area gets swollen up to twice its size and the area turns purple and for the first 2 days I have to take steroid type medication to reduce the swelling and then for 10 days I have to take an antibiotic but like this has happened 3 times so far when I've gotten bit. But when I was younger, I never had reactions. Like when I was 6 or 7, I first got bit by an ant and nothing happened except maybe a small itchy bump that went away in a few days. It happened after that too. Then one day when I was like 10, I got bit and it got the reaction, and has been happening ever since. Why is that? Will it get worse?

Even fresh almonds that are not roasted. at times I can eat apples sometimes NOT strawberries are iffy.Definatly no melon of any type. But at times my body will NOT reject them.

me and my friends were wrestling and he slapped me on my ear...immediately following i lost some hearing...i have bad hearing anyway...this was about 3 days ago...i stil havent regained full hearing and my ear still hurts...also whenever i sneeze or blow my nose air litterally blowsout of my ear wth a loud whistling sound tht other can hear...i have tubes in my ear so im not sure if it has something to do with that o i busted m eardrum...so if anyone can help me out be much appreciated

When is the right age/time to see a gynecologist? I'm turning 15 and haven't had sex, and was wondering when i should start seeing one. Is it true that they stick a metal thing up there?
