i know it sometimes causes sinusitis. please help. i don't know how it is called.

It seems that you're talking about "stridor" which is that high pitch noise upon inhalation. It occurs when there is constriction of the airway. There could also be stridor upon exhalation.

snorting unless you're talking about some medical problem...then I don't know.
