Slice up fresh ginger and green onions (scallions), boil some water. When the water is boiling, add the ginger and scallion, let it simmer for 5 minutes, then turn the heat off and let it cool. Sprinkle a bit of ground cardamom in the tea, stir, and sip on it.
Also, no more microwaveable chicken soup.

I had hyperemesis so it used to be complex to maintain some thing down. The foremost factor so that you can do is to make certain you're getting your drinks to preclude fitting dehydrated which in flip could make the nausea worse. I needed to get at the Zofran pump and take phenergan simply to support me transfer round with out throwing up. My dietician from Matria (the dwelling wellness care nurses with the Zofran pump) encouraged the gingerbread cookies. I additionally saved a sucker with me which helped alieve the going to throw up proper then feeling if I could not get to the toilet at that second. Try consuming very small widespread foods, like simplest two or three bites of bland meals like rice without a butter or potatoes. If not anything turns out to support and the health problem will get worse, ask your healthcare professional approximately the Zofran pump. Yes it's intimidating, but it surely works wonders whilst you cannot maintain some thing down.

Pepto Bismol is the best thing for nausea. Take the chewable ones if you can't stand the taste of the liquid. They taste a lot better. The best thing about Pepto is that it works right away. For future reference though, eating soup will usually not help nausea. If you want to eat something while your nauseous it should be dry toast or saltines.

Ginger is a traditional cure for nausea, and it works. My family even use the ginger tablets to get past travel sickness.
If you don't have the tablets you can have glaced ginger, dry ginger, or fresh ginger grated and made into a "tea".

There is a pressure point you can try:
1/3 of the way down your inner forearm
press 1/3 of the way in on the side of your thumb
I hope that makes sense! :)

I swear by Canada Dry Ginger ale. Thats the only soft drink I use. If you can, drink it cool, not ice cold, and sip it slowly.
