may not be soon after the period but to some extend before the period. because the period the egg is already produced and ready to get fertilized any time it gets the sperm. so u r most likely to get pregnant before the period. what happens after the period is that the ripe egg gets drained out with ur period and it takes another few more days to produce a new egg.

well ovulation is about 2 weeks before your period, so that is going to be your most likely time. Alot of people have different theories though! I just don't see how you could have more chance when you just passed an egg and you are not making new eggs yet??

You are at high risk of pregnancy the week before your period starts. The further you are away from your period, the less likely you'll get pregnant, however there is always surprises.

if u period is 28 days you ovulate on day 14 counting the first day of period as day 1 but you can usually tell your cervical mucus will change, you get more flirty with others its those few days a monthyou get more dressed up and do your hair. thats ovulaiton u can only get pregnant like 3 days a month and thats ovulation usually 14 days fromthe first day of period

It all depends on when you ovulate. I thinky ou are safer when you have sex right after your period and a week right before it comes. But that works for my body.
