especially if one finds it hard to poo ( constipation)

I was reading Scarlet's question about quitting smoking. she quit and needed some words of encouragement. After reading her question and answering it made me think, the cigarette I'm puffing on right now only leaves 3 and I'm broke. Wheres the piggy bank. But I want to stop. I am a closet smoker, my family and fiancee think I stopped, and I'm good about hiding it. But I'm only killing myself. I am a very bad asthamtic almost died a few times. But as soon as I get discharged from the hospital, I can't wait to get to that 1st drag of a cigerette. I have said I quit before and can hold off for a day or so and then right back to that nasty habit. So whats to say I won't fail this time? I want to stop--beside the asthma, I am 41, on birth control pills. I just get bored and want something to do. I once heard that quitting smoking is as hard as quitting herion. The same chemical changes happens in the brain. I believe it. Anybody out there have any success stories to share

Im not sure if it's due to stress or anything..but there are times when it really hurts to pee and i kept havin the urge to go to the washroom..the weird thing is that it could happen for a day or two and then be fine for weeks..then returned again after that..usually when my final exams is around the corner it gets worse..so is this uti or am i thinking too much or am i just too stressed? i suffered from uti 5 months ago but recovered after taking medication from the doctor.

Hi. I am a little worried. I am using Yasmin (for about 5 months now), and I am sexually active. I am in the 3rd week of my pack (the week before my period) and have noticed a tiny bit of gooey brown discharge. I have just finished a detox, and I'm dieting and exercising more than I usually do. Things are pretty stressful too. I suffer from anxiety problems (mild Tourettes) and I am really anxious about being pregnant - I use two condoms as well as taking the pill, and have had so many tests in the past. What could the discharge be? Please help me to settle my nerves, I am sick of feeling like this every month, and this brown stuff has me worried (again!)

I have no problem seeing my doctor about normal things like colds and flus and injections but when it comes to "down there" i get really scared of going there, although i don't have any problems.
how can i trust the doc?

Hi
I've seen my local docs/consultants and they seem to think every things ok, the problem is I have a frequent urge to urinate( its probably not as bad as some ppl but its its a really significant problem) it just randomly occured and since then nothing has really changed (It was completely normal before), I've had blood test, urine sample scans but I stll feel really bad, I've also cut out drinks that can irriate the bladder to, the problem with my docs/consult they don't really tell you what you can do I've looked up load on the internet with little success, I've tried holding the urge but thats awkard especially when no toilets are near by *I also usually need to go more or less after I've already been,

is it a bladder problem or could there be a blockage

what should I do? did anyone else have the same problem?

thanks alot :)

Well I am 14 years old, and I haven't gotten my period yet.

I have been having very dull cramps/pain in my lower abdomen today.
And a while ago I went to the toilet, and I noticed a very light brown discharge on my underpants. But when I wiped (sorry TMI) nothing showed on the toilet paper. So I put a 'slim pantiliner' on just incase.

I went to the toilet about 5 minutes ago, and I noticed again that on my pantiliner there was a small brown stain, which is obviously where I discharged. But again, when I wiped nothing showed, at all.

What is this?

Thank you.

I am pre diabetic and I don't want to deal with it anymore. I need the attention. Please don't tell me why not to do it, please just tell me how to do it. I know I am troubled too, so no need to mention that.

You have had a hard day at work, at sports, whatever. Or maybe you wore super-painful high heel shoes?

You fill a large pot or basin.........anything big enough to fit your feet into.......the deeper the better.......fill it with cold water and ice cubes.

It will be a slight shock when you first put them in.........but then you will get THE MOST DELICIOUS RELIEF!!!!

After about 10 minutes, it feels like you have NEW FEET!

I love it!

i'd started lifting heavy weights in the gym at the age of 13, a little after my menstrual cycles had begun. at that time it was a regular one month cycle. after around a year, i stopped going to the gym, and lifting weights, after which my menstrual cycles have been extremely irregular, occuring just around once in eight months or so, and then lasting for around two weeks. i was first told to 'wait and watch' for it to regulate itself. since that did not happen, i was then told to exercise evry day- any form of exercise- cardio, aerobics, and so on. for the past one year i have notices that whenever i introduce a new exercise regime, my menstrual cycles occur in around two weeks. if i continue with a strict everyday regime, the cycles occur once a month, but even a slight slack in exercise, like not working out for one week, is enough to throw the whole thing out of sync again. i have been exercising around thrice a week for the past month, but have not had my period this month
