Hot bath or jacuzzi.

And I hate to sound too explicit, but an orgasm will do the trick as well, as it relaxes the cramped muscles and releases endorphins, which are natural pain killers.

I rub my lower tummy especially on the top of my pelvic bone. I think there is a blood vessel or something there and if you put pressure on it it releaves the cramps. I take as hot a bath as I can stand and then soak at least 20 minutes and relax. The bath REALLY helps. A heating pad or a 2 litter filled with hot water works too/ just don't put it directly on your skin. It may burn you and you don't notice untill later.

Increasing your iron levels during that time by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course) can help ease cramps. It does so by slowing down the amount of flow with the period.

If the cramping is so severe that you can't function this needs to be evaluated by a doctor to see what they think is going on.

I have found the best way to relieve menstrual cramps is by having an orgasm, either through masturbation or sex.
