I just had a baby 8 months ago by c-section. Several hours after the c-section they discovered I had a uterine rupture and I ended up needing 4 units of blood. Now I am having a period every 13 days that last for 5-6 days. This has been going on for about a month and a half to two months. Is this normal or no. Please help if anyone know.

The school nurse "thinks" that there "appears to be" nits in my son's hair. He's been using a shampoo with selenium sulfide 2.5% for well over 10 yrs for dandruff--this stuff also treats ringworm. If it is used to treat ringworm, can lice exist in the treated hair long enough to plant their nits? By the way, he has a doctor's appt in an hr, hopefully I'll get an answer...If not, I'll ask a pharmacist...Thanks!

I have HPV and of course they strain with genital warts. i am being treated by a dermatologist and using Aldera. its hard for me to ask my derm. these questions so i want to ask them here. i got them from someone in jan. 2007 and was seeing somone differnt in may 07 but did not have any visible warts unitl july. Did i give my partner hpv? there was no fluid transfer or does that matter? 2nd, if the warts go away, will i still transmit HPV to others or will my body have suppresed it? and if they do go away will skin to skin contact spread it or by fluids or both or more? i know i will have hpv the rest of my life but my body will suppress it, right? is there any other treatment for the warts besides the Aldera? thanks for any answers!!!!!

I'll be brief.

I am very near sighted. Doc has corrected my right eye for distance vision, and my left for close vision.

I was told learning disabilities are prominent in individuals who are right-handed with left eye dominant. I was told this was due to the brain needing to make an extra "loop" (eg, when copying notes: from left eye to right brain, then an extra loop to the left hemisphere in order to control the right hand.)

Since correcting my vision would essentally make me left-eye dominant for studying, can it cause problems?

BTW, I asked my doctor. His answer: "That's the way it's always done." :(

Today I got prescribed skelaxin its a muscle relaxer, and I really do not want to take it. I am getting an xray later on today to see if anything is wrong. I told the doctor when he was writting the prescription that I really didn't want to take anything that was going to make me drowsy because I am a full time college student and I am constantly studying and I wont be able to study if im all loopy from my medicine. I have an appointment on monday for him to review the xray. I really am not in enough pain that I need the medicine I just want to know he will be notified if I did bring it to the pharmacy.

having orgasms when they are on the less intense side. Because clitoral orgasms spawned by vibrators are more intense, but when there is someone there, doing a lot of work, you may experience the same thing but not realize it in the midst of it all... while you're not concentrating on the start and stop of the orgasm. Also... what are multiple orgasms? Is it when a person is just having vaginal liquid shoot out for a while or do the spasms have to absolutely accompany the liquid?

I've read a few different things about layering and I need to know what's correct. I live in the Denver area so sun protection is really important! Any how I've read that if you layer two levels of SPF, for example an SPF 45 sunscreen and then SPF 15 foundation you will only have the protection of the SPF 15. I've also heard it's the other way around, that you would have the higher level of protection. Thank you!

I asked if it was possible and i got a half and half answer. How many of you woman have gotten pregnant from your period? I might be nervous and paranoid but this is eating me not knowing. I am not a patient person but I might have to be considering the circumstances. Anyways have any women become pregnant from having sex during their period? My boyfriend and I had sex multiple time during my cycle in hopes that its a "safe" period. Needless to say, I have learned my lesson and now know that its a myth. I just want someone else to relate to this situation.

Heinz's wife is dying from a rare form of cancer. There is only one drug that can save her, a radium compound that a druggist in Heinz's town has discovered. The ingredients to make this drug are costly, and the druggist is charging 10 times what it costs him to make this drug. He pays $200 for the radium, and charges his customers $2,000 for a small dose. Heinz tries to borrow the money, and can come up with only $1,000. Heinz explains to the druggist that his wife will die without the drug, and asks him to sell the drug at a cheaper price, or to take payment later. The druggist replies, "No, I discovered this drug and I am going to make money from it." Heinz becomes desperate. He breaks into the drugstore and steals the drug for his wife. Should Heinz have done that ?.......This is taken from the book "The Sociopath Next Door" by Martha Stout, PhD. What do you think you would have done if you had been Heinz? When you answer, give your reasoning, please.

My son has had the intestional flu for two weeks. We have tried immodium, but it wears off after 24 hours. The last time he took it, it didn't even work. Over ten years ago, I had another child with the same problem. I took him to the doctor and he prescribed antibiotics. Antibiotics to treat diarrhea! It did not help at all. What do other doctors do for this?
