I have removed them from friends faces or elsewhere by heating up either a pin or a nail depending on the size and burning the area where it attaches. there is a scab for a few days and then no scar and the skin tag does not return. Use caution - especially around the eyes. I have done this more than once and it works very well. There is a slight sting - but it is well worth it.

Your doctor can take them off. They cut them off, freeze them, or burn them with a cauterizing device.
I once bought one of those wart-remover kits that freezes the warts. They are pretty expensive. I froze my wart, and then I froze a skin tag. It didn't go away completely, but it got down to the level of the rest of my skin.

Best way is if your GP does small operations in his surgery with a laser. Mine does and he is a whizz with his machine!

I guess I am mean to myself. I take clean nail clippers and cut them off when they are small.
