My doctor prescribed Invega paliperidone for anxiety, is this normal? The web says it's for schizophrenia.

Just because the web said its for schizophrenia doesnt mean u have it. Alot of medications are used for different things. Example the medication called metformin which is used for blood sugar in diabetics is also used for fertility

I have personally never heard of it being used for anxiety, that is not to say that it is not appropriate. But if your doctor is not a psychiatrist, you may want a second opinion.
