Does the OB have an applicator? I remember using OB when it was all I could get one day at the beach, and it had no applicator, and it hurt like hell. I was very young, and small, too. I think Kotex makes an applicator that is plastic, very smooth and easy to put in. There is a layer of skin called the hymen (it breaks when you first have sex), which usually will allow a tampon to pass through it, but some girls have a thicker piece of skin than others. If she is having a hard time, and really wants to use a tampon instead of a pad, lubricant will help. You can find it in the women's section of the grocery store, it is called KY Jelly. Put a little on the end of the tampon, and it should help "smooth things out".

First off enough with the girl's only crap. I'm a male in the health professions & i know many male GYN's. So some males know more about you're vagina than you do! Anyways its just a tight hole. I'm sure when she starts playing with herself (mastubating) it'll either pop or open up! until then she should be fine in pads; even though someone might notice in gym class.

dont use tampons the first time.Use pads and when you are use to that, after a couple of months try the tampon. And try calling a doctor or tell your mom or dad.

It shouldn't hurt. Maybe she wasn't putting it in right. I'd recommend getting tampons with a PLASTIC applicator. They are much easier to insert.

try her on pads first. sometimes its easier to use a pad and then progress to tampons.
are you sure.....sorry this sounds weird...but are you sure shes trying to put it in the right place.

and yeah. there is a layer there...but i think it should break when it first goes in...

you may bleach it. i do no longer comprehend if it concerns what dermis shade you have... yet I fairly have easy dermis and bleached hair isn't substantive against my dermis. that's going to be interior the hair removing part of the wellness/elegance dept.
