Well I am 14 years old, and I haven't gotten my period yet.
I have been having very dull cramps/pain in my lower abdomen today.
And a while ago I went to the toilet, and I noticed a very light brown discharge on my underpants. But when I wiped (sorry TMI) nothing showed on the toilet paper. So I put a 'slim pantiliner' on just incase.
I went to the toilet about 5 minutes ago, and I noticed again that on my pantiliner there was a small brown stain, which is obviously where I discharged. But again, when I wiped nothing showed, at all.
What is this?

I agree with the answers above. And I didnt have my first one till I was almost 16, so we were relieved when it finally came! Congrats, you're starting on one of the first steps to becoming a woman! This also means you are FERTILE now, which mean if you engage in sexual activity, you can now become pregnant. SO DONT! You are too young, anyway. Sorry if that last part offeneded you, but i'm just worried about young ladies these days, and wouldn't want anything to interfere with what i'm sure is a very bright future for you.

This is probably your first period....congratulations!
Often the first one can be very light, sometimes not even looking like blood, more light brown or something. It can take a few months of not very much before they start properly....
Especially with the cramps and abdomen pain, it's very likely that this is your first period, it's just a really light one to start off with :)

This could be the start of your period. I've had it happen before where I've noticed the spotting on my underwear only but not the toilet paper because of how light it is.
Please let your mom know as well so that she can help you to keep an eye on this.

Well it sounds like this is you starting your first period.
After this period has finished it may last for around 3 days for your first period you may not have another period for a while don't worry this is normal it's just your body getting your period into a regular cycle.

wow... i`m excited for you! it`S a sign that you are starting your menstrual period. if it doesn`t turn red in the next few days... it`S ok, wait next month, maybe by then you will see what you are expecting to see.
