I know that panic attacks can have effects that make you feel like you're having a heart attack ie-pain in chest. But i'm just wondering if pain shooting down the left arm is also one? And for a woman? Bc i know that this is usually a sign for men/heart attack.

Talk to a doctor ASAP. I never heard of panic attacks involving pain in the left arm. Heart attack symptoms are the same for men and women.

Pain down the left arm is a symptom of a heart attack and should not be left undiagnosed. If you have pain down your left arm with other heart symptoms get it checked out immediately. Better to be safe than sorry.

Get to the ER TONIGHT. At least...call a doctor and tell them about it. I've had panic attacks for years...and NEVER had a pain shooting down my arm.
