Well what do i need when i go to ER?
Insurance, etc..
Do they charge or is it free?

You need your insurance card (if you have one) and your ID. it is not free but generally they will bill you. If you can wait until you get in to see your regular DR. sometimes its best. Usually all they do in the ER is make you comfortable until you can see your regular DR. and that is less expensive than a trip to the ER

nothing in this world is free. take your insurance card and a checkbook to cover the cost of the copay. be sure that the ER is right for you -call your doctor first.

In the US they charge you. It also depends on what you are going in for, but insurance is always a very helpful thing to have

No, it's definitely not free! You need to take your insurance card(s) and any copayment you may have for ER visits.
