I was diagnosed in 1992 with (SLE) Lupus. I had started to see a rhematologists , but all he did was prescribed different types of medications, some which were, serzone100mg, xanax 0.25mg, diclofenac sodium 75mg, donnatal, darvocet 100mg, elavil 25mg, plaquenil 200mg, naproxen, and tell me this should help, so I tried taking the medication and it would just make me sicker, so eventually in 2001 I , I finally started back seeing a rhematologist he prescribed, prednisone 10mg, Diclofenac 75mg, misoprostol 200mg, azathoprine 50mg, Imuran 50mg. Going back and forth to different doctors. I did not get any results. So I struggled with the pain all over skin, and under skin is so painful to touch. I strugle eververy day and I mean every day with deep throbbing pain in my left foot upper area near fold, it sends throbbing pain to my left lower leg , I struggle with severe muscle pain with any type of movement , my left leg is more painful, theres more to add on but I have to stop.

We have swim class today but half my toenail is gone. I'm afraid that it might be infected or it'll hurt or something. Should I go in or should I sit out?

i keep having bad freams about a girl named carly and she dies every night in my head in the same way over and over again and she always writes me letters saying ehy dont you help me al** and i never do i just run.
its horrible.
i dont even no this girl and i have never met her before but in the dreams its like a different eppisode every night.
it carries on.
she is like my best friend in my head, is she real? what is bothering me?
help!!

I've already been diagnosed with PTSD and Depression. My mental health has been thrown between doctors and counsellors and therapists who have actually made me worse.

My old counsellor would tell me stories of his sex life and etc.

I'm just wondering how I would be diagnosed with this?
What are the symptoms?
How can they be treated?

Suffering from phimosis?

I am 27 yr man, soon to be married. My problem is that I am suffering from phimosis. My foreskin is very tight at the tip and does not expose my glan. Hence I do not get complete erection as my foreskin stops my glan from complete expansion. I acquired this problem 5 yrs back. What is the remedy for the same? Is there any other alternative to circumcision? If I go for circumcision surgery, how long will it take for the penis to heal and be functional for sex/intercourse

he is 81 this year. he also has prostate cancer which hes getting chemo for.
Alzheimers is an awful disease, he doesnt go out anymore, cos he gets lost, he no longer phones out, as we think he doesnt remember how too.
Now, he cooks everything under the grill, forgets to wash and wears dirty clothes!
BUT THEN, when i speak to him, he sounds fine,denies all knowledge of getting lost etc..
its like hes a chameleon..the mental health nurse says hes better now than hes been.. but they cant see him acting while they are there.. is this normal alzheimers behaviour!

Hi. I have a problem, see. I'm around 5'6 and 160, I don't look obese or anything, but I've gained some weight since around this time, last year. I have a friend out of state that I'm going to meet at the beginning of June and I don't want her to think "Oh my god, she got fat!" But more along the lines of 'she looks nice', so I'm here to ask you today, is there anyone that can give me a diet or exercise plan so I can lose about 15lbs, maybe flatten my tummy some? =[ Maybe something that will get me decent results by June and isn't EXTREMELY hard to stick with?

I started my periods when I was 8 years old, I am now 17 and they have never been regular..i can have one period that lasts 3 days a week for a year, or 2 a year or last year i didnt have any, i havent had one this year so far either.
I have seen my doctor on several occasions, he sent me for a scan and they couldnt see anything, he done some tests for a hormone inbalence, and they came back normal..all he says he can do is put me on the pill but they make me bleed non stop..i have tried about5-6 different brands and they all do the same..can anyone suggest anything it is really starting to get stupid now..

I have been taking codeine 30mg, for over 10 years due to the pain of 'endometriosis' and have suffered with the associated bowel problems because of this. I have only been able to cut down on the codeine when pregnant, ( my doctor warned against stopping completely, as withdrawal may cause miscarriage).
Lately, I have been suffering horrific bowel cramps, sickness and other horrible symptoms (which I won't go into on here!)
I have been for the 'magic-eye' for the bleeding and pain, (the endometriosis caused the bowel to become 'stuck' to the uterus, and was separated surgically) which was inconclusive, but needs further investigation.
I am afraid to tell the doctor how bad it has got as he may stop giving me the painkillers (yes, looks like I'm addicted).
In the past, the pain has been so bad, the doctors have come out to give me 'anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory injections with morphine'. Today, bad pain again.
I'm scared that I've caused irreversible damage, what can I do

I have an ear infection which was diagnosed on Friday. It is the ear canal that is infected. The pain and deafness started on Tuesday. When the Doc looked in my ear she said it was full of pus that is why I am deaf and that it would start to drain out. Well I've not had any drainage yet but the hearing has improved a bit. It feels like it's still in there but feel wet like water trapped. I'm also getting clicking noises. Why isn't it draining?
I really don't think it has drained at night, I have checked the pillow and my ear is completely dry.

normally my period follows a vague schedual of being light (i couldnt soak a super in 2 days) and short( up to 4 days), but not always on time.
in october i had my period for 3 1/2 weeks of a normal flow. then i had about a week off and i had one that lasted for 2 weeks(november)
. then i didnt have one until january ( a little heavy).
then i diddnt have one till march, normal flow

I am not on birthcontrol, i am not pregnant, i am not on any meds, i havent been having more stress than normal, nor am i depressed.

I went jogging the other day, and my left hip felt like it's been dislocated. Anyway, it disappeared after a dew days. But then I went jogging again, and the pain came back. Do you know what's causing this? It's always on my left hip. Is the way I'm jogging wrong or something? Like I'm putting too much stress on my left foot?

Long story short- I've had herpes since 2005. I recently was diagnosed with a disease with a very low survival rate and it compromised my immune system so that I started getting outbreaks again. Never told my boyfriend about my herpes or about my current medical condition because I don't want to worry him. I just always made sure I used meds to prevent passing it on to him, but in my current condition the meds don't work well so I insisted we start using condoms again. Last week we had sex while I had an outbreak. Never did that before because it can push the virus to the cervix & it hurts, but since surviving the next 5 yrs is unlikely, I didn't care what happened to me as long as he was protected. Afterwards I saw that he didn't put the condom on all the way! He likes to believe he's "too big" for condoms & he's not! I've told him to stop that nonsense w/ the condom b4! A few hrs later he has flu symptoms common when contracting herpes. What r the chances that he has it now? :(
