Methods to help you improve concentration
Plan your study time. Decide at which time of day you work best (morning, afternoon, evening) and use this for private study.
Plan regular breaks, for example, fifty minutes of study followed by ten minutes break. If you cannot concentrate for that long, then try a half hourly pattern:
25 minutes study – 5 minute break,
20 minutes study – 10 minute break.
Do something physical in your break: like go for a ten-minute walk.
Try to build up the amount of time you can concentrate. Tell yourself you will really concentrate for ten minutes, then try fifteen at a time, et cetera.
Feeling tired can mean you are bored with a particular subject. Try switching to another topic and see if you get a second wind.
Vary tasks so that you don’t get stuck for too long on something difficult.
Vary sources so that you are not always reading. Use CD-rom, internet, video, tapes and /or group discussion.

there's really no general formula so you should experiment. Try different environments. Some people like to work in places with lots of people while others prefer to work in a room with no one else around. Some like to listen to jazz or classical music while others dont want to hear anything at all. maybe you're disturbed so it would be helpful to have a diary or someone to talk to so that you'll be relaxed before working on anything. Have enough sleep and eat healthy foods since some people starve themselves resulting to poor concentration. Yoga can also help you. Finally, list your priorities and do them 1 at a time so that you won't have things mixed up, having them all half-finished. It's better to have one finished work than to have lots of partially-finished ones.

The more you do it the easier it will become. Try short sessions doing something that requires concentration but that you enjoy. Then everytime force yourself to do it a little longer then the last. Also good sleep and diet will help as well..

sit relax, close your eyes, feel the air flow when you breathe. only feel, just fell, dont let your imagination arise and distract. start with 10-15 minutes a day for a week, add to 1 hour a day for a month.
you'll get a lot other than concentration as bonus.

having breakfast is helpful, and apparently chocolate helps concentration. a half an hour stroll in the fresh air clears your head and refreshes you.
