For about 8 months i have been geting this pain in the muscle of my jaw its only on the leftside i get the sharp pain when i chew somthing i.e eat food etc. The pain is really sharp and hurts my ear ive been to see an ent with ear pain and he sent me for an mri wich was clean. I go long periods of time without feling the pain soemthimes months but out of the blue it comes backwhat should i do ???

I stubbed my big toe five days ago. Its been swollen and slightly bruised ever since. It's been getting better, but still hurts. The first couple days it hurt very badly to even touch it. However, now I can apply pressure to it with my finger, bend it (not completely), and can even walk on it normally with only slight pain. Could it be broken? It is ok to walk on it? Is it necessary to go to the doctors? Thanks!!.....

my new born son was born on the 7th month of pregnancy and suffering from Retinopathy of Prematurity stage IV. A surgery was performed for his left eye but unfortunately it did not succeed. The specialist who conducted the operation said that there was nothing they could do for the left eye anymorewith the current technology that we have in our country. The right eye on the other hand needs a miracle to be able to see. I don't want to son to grow up blind. I want to live a normal life. Is there anyone who can help me contact an eye specialist in the US or Europe so I can ask for their opinion? My family is very poor but I could not let poverty stand on the way of my son's future. Can anyone please help me out here so my son can see the world and live a normal life. Thanks in advance....

I'm going to Japan in May, and the flight is about 14 hours long from New York to Narita Airport. I've taken this flight before, but I'm kind of worried I'll get DVT this time. I'm kind of a hypochondriac, so I don't want to have to worry about getting this while I'm in Japan.

What are some things you can do to help prevent DVT, especially on long flights? Any help is appreciated!

Yesterday, I overheard a Doctor having a casual chat with a couple of nurses about dieting and healthy eating. He said that many cereals should be banned as they are not the healthy choice that manufacturers claim. He went on to say that Wheat cereals will put bulk on you, especially around the waist. He said that a breakfast of eggs and bacon would be better for you, assuming that they cooked appropriately, i.e. eggs boiled or poached and bacon grilled. He also said that one should eat two eggs a day. He is not a heart surgeon by the way :-)

Any one with knowledge of nutrition agree with this or have a point of view?

I woke up in the middle of the night with unbearable cramp in my left leg. It was at the back of my knee. It got worse and worse over about 1 minute, and then eased off. I now have a dull ache behind my knee and it feels really sore to touch. To make matters worse the same thing then happened with my right leg! When the cramp came on I flexed my foot but it seemed to make it worse. Is it because I am not doing enouch exercising? It has happened before but never such severe pain and never has it ached so badly afterwards!

It's not severe -- moderate itching around the corners of my mouth and back of throat. And only during bouts with seasonal allergies. Plus the reaction seems to be worse the riper they are.

Does anyone else have this allergy? What is the common substance or ingredient?

i recently lost all of my insurance well i was suppost to get braces this summer (my dentist wanted me to wait because i WAS pregnant) well i was suppost to have them because my teeth were pushing into each other and hurting really bad... it has been 3 months and my teeth are hurting even worse, i have never had a cavity or anything, they just are moveing, my dentist told me that the pain will go away as my teeth start to get straighter, i was wondering if i were to just go to the denstist without insurance will they make me pay for the braces all up front or do they allow you to pay monthly or how does that work? please just serious answers only... thank you.
