Did the doctor diagnosed what chest infection that you are suffering from. Is the doctor that you consulted a General Practisioner or a Cardiologist?

The reason for asking is that you might be suffering from fatigue, work-related stress or sudden symptom.

I am 52 years old building consultant and had encountered a more acute and severe problem than you 4 years ago in the wee morning while sleeping. It was a sudden heart attack and underwent emergency angioplasty surgery.

Though what you described is not a heart attack as I know how it is like, I feel that you ought to check into the hospital A&E dept and get a cardiologist to review your problem.

Please don't wait any longer. Take care.

Hi! What's the doctor's exact diagnosis? Is it bronchitis or...? Since when did it started and what's the degree of seriousness? Did the doctor prescribed you any medication and since when did he prescribed them to you? If there's prescription, did you take it regualrly as instructed by your doctor or not? Also did you take any cold drink while having this condition? If you have been prescribed medications by your doctor and have took them regularly but it sill does not improve even after all the prescriptions have been consume, then in that case I would suggest that you seek another doctor's opinion and perhaps refer you to a hospital to get some test done for you so as to get to the core factor of what's causing the infection. This way then you'll be able to know exactly what's going on with yourself and then ask the doctor to see what can be done. That infection should not be left onb for too long because it can cause complication if not careful.

Just a little contribution...Wishing you speedy recovery.

Take Care.

A chest infection? Then he/she put you on antibiotics. If not I would call and go back in. If you have a bacterial infection in your chest it could be bronchitis, but you would have a lot of congestion and coughing, you should have more info and be on antibiotics. If you don't get any satisfaction today, go to the ER.

You may need some antibiotics if he didn't give you one already. Please call your dr back to let them know you are still having a lot of pain and if he can't help you please get another opinion preferably from someone that does not share the same office that he does, or go to the ER.
