You may be experiencing a psychic vision. Some people have the ability to communicate with the dead. This Carly may be trying to get you to solve something or help her cross over.

Usually when you have a repeated dream, your sub-conscience is trying to tell you something. My guess, and its only a guess, is that Carly represents you, the "best friend" of yourself.
Some part of you is trying to tell you that you are doing something that is hurting you, and you are ignoring the "your own Best friend" part of you, that is telling you to stop. That's why you dream of her death, you don't want to hear her tell you there's something wrong. But she asks you to help her (therefore yourself) but its too hard, scary, so you run away (from your thoughts).
If this rings true, and it might not, then you do want to get help (her letters to you) but are too frightened. Be you own "best friend" and get whatever it is sorted out.

Poor you! I guess you are just distracted and worried about something?Maybe you watch too many horror shows before bed,or you have an over-imaginative mind and can't help thinking about this stuff.Whichever one,i advise you, before you sleep, think of the plesant things in life and listen to music. It calms you down.I don't think its real.sometimes, you can controll your own dreams! Like you can shout something or prevent her from doing something. It works for me sometimes.Don;t sleep too late as well.It affects you. Take it easy for a while.Hope it works!:D

One thing in your description jumped out at me; "don't you help me". Are you feeling guilty about something alone those lines, or even have a ongoing dilemma that you perceive could develop into someone else need of your help? That's all I've got, good luck with it.

Firstly, are you aware of any condition you might have? You may be taking a drug that has the side effect of bad dreams.

You might be hallucinating and might get put on antipsychotics.

Talk to your doctor~
