Both my parents are smokers and are around that age, and my grandma also smokes. She's 57 and I don't know exactly what will happen. What has already happened to themselves they can't fix? I know there's a lot of things in cigarettes that can kill you, but I want to know what 15 years of smoking can do to you.

I recently had sex with my boyfriend. Pretty certain the hymen tore, but about 10 minutes after sex, I had to use the bathroom. I tried to pee, but had to avoid it since there was a burning sensation. Is this normal? It is the first time it has ever happend. While using the bathroom earlier before the incident, it was fine?

Okay I got my first ever period about 3 weeks ago. Well I decide for my next one I wanted tampons. So my mom got me Playtex sport regular sized(the yellow color thing on the box). I was wondering if they are okay for 1st time users. I have only had my period once. Plz tell me any advice for using them and if they are okay for new people. Im 13 if it helps any.

Anyone notice that the drug commercials are getting out of control with things that never seemed to be a problem before? There is the pill for "depression that hurts your body physically"... I've been very depressed, but nothing on my body ever hurt due to my depression... and then there is the RLS; Restless Leg Syndrom commercials. I've had that needle feeling in my legs for about five minutes, but is this really a problem people are having. If so, let me know. It just appears as though the pharmacutical companies are trying very hard to create new sicknesses so that they could continue to push their drugs for profit. What happens is that a few million healthy people are beliving they are sick, and becoming drug users... and it's all okay, because the drugs are legal... (sarcasm)

For real, how do I get rid of it, short of a tummy tuck. The details: I'm 32 yrs. 5 ft, around 110 lbs. and wear size 4 pants. I have 4 kids, the last delivered 5 years ago, 3 of which were delivered C section (2 horzantal, the last vertical). I have lost the weight of my pregancies, but now I have this discusting gut, from which I can grab a handful of with each hand!!! I don't consider myself fat, I just want to get rid of this extra skin. Any real sugestions?

I started the Nuva Ring and it makde me crazy, I swear. I am moody, crying, depressed, unsure of everything. Like...psycho. Do I have to schedule another appointment with my OBGYN to get a new perscription? [it takes like 3 months, though!] And is there anything besides the Nuva Ring that you would suggest?

I am a vegetarian, and I think I might have anemia. I know anemia is a result of iron and b12 deficiency, but do I really need to go to the doctor. I take a daily multi vitamin that has iron and I can get b12 vitamins. Is there anything else I should know?

The blackheads on my nose are SO annoying! I have tried popping them with my fingers and that seems to make it worse and my nose gets really red. I have tried all kinds of different kinds of cream and cleansor and it doesn't seem to help at all!
I read on a previous question that a "steamer" helps to unclog the pores and they come out. I was wandering if anyone knew of a cheap one somewhere that i could get instead of going to a spa or somewhere like that and pay a lot of money!

I had an IUD put in me in May of last year. I had experienced some minor pains in October, so I went back to see the doctor who had put it in. He got samples and ran all sorts of tests, but he never really told me anything, except that the IUD still seemed like it was in place and told me to take tylenol or whatever for the pain. Well, about a month ago, I started getting a lot of pains in my stomach and inner sides and my lower back. Then a week after that, I started getting sick to my stomach. The pains have been almost too much to handle. I thought maybe I was just catching the flu or whatever it was that was going around (a lot of people were getting sick). But then it just didn't go away...

is inner rage through all the 16 years of suffering this disorder, ive found this the most problem. i was recentley diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and i await therapy. but im worrying whether or not ill be able to have this problem treated. does anybody know how you treat it and whether it can be treated? ive suffered alot in my life, bullying, mainly mental at high school. victimisation, by street gangs, incarcerated in a psyche hospital for 18 months. i used to have uncontrolable rage outbursts where id lose all sense of my surroundings accompanied with the powerfull impulse to ' act out' lash out, hit out, bang, punch like a complete fit of enragement. i realise if i dont deal with this problem above anything else, it will destroy my life, and it frightens me. it doesnt take alot, to affect my mood and send me on the turn, and fill me full of jaw clenching rage with the strong impulse to do something about it. im not very tolerant of peoples ways and it worries me

i'm a AA in my bra size. i've always struggled with being selfconscious about the size of my boobs. i've considered many times about getting breat implants, if i got them i would just want to be a full B cup. do guys prefer that a girl just stay with what she has because it's natural, or does it really make a difference to them if her boobs are fake or not?
