I've had the nodes in my neck swell before as a result of an infection, but never down there. I'm just getting over an extended bout with a sinus infection & bronchitis. I noticed them about 2 days ago, and they hurt in an aweful way today. Anyone have any experience with this? Any solutions?

I need good, solid, valid reasons why it's a bad idea for my 19 yr old step-daughter to move in with her 24 yr old boyfriend. She's away at college and met this yahoo of a guy whom her mother and I really don't care for. I realize she's 19 and can make her own decisions, and I'll just have to live it, but please help me come up with some really good, decision swaying reasons why she should not do this. Also reasons why the 5 yr gap in their ages is not a good thing either. I'm really trying to help her from making really stupid life mistakes, and I really need some ammo to drive the point home. I have my reasons, but they don't seem to hold any weight.

Any and all answers considered. Can you please please help me?

Ok real simple, if you have a headache tickle the skin on the back of your ear. Try both ears but I think the best will be to tickle or stimulate the ear opposite to the side of your headache. Where I am going with this is the stimulation of the vegus nerve. There are vegus stimulators implanted for the use in sever epilepsy which have been shown to reduce headaches also. So even if you suffer from epilepsy tickeling or stimulating the skin behind the ear may in fact stop that seizure or reduce it. Even possibly keep it from turning in to a full blown grand mal. I would say this is worth trying and with your input I think we may be on to something. I also suspect this to help headaches caused by trigeminal neuralgia. Seems to simple you say... well lets prove it wrong. Maybe a feather would work better? Its really up to you but the chances are someone out there has a head ache right now and when you have a head ache anything is worth trying. Try this out and get back with me.

it was aobut 2 days ago, and my knee still hurts. i was walking home, and i was pulling myself up with my leg, because through the woods on the way home from my friends house, there is a place like that and, iwent forward to much, and my leg instead of bending back, it bent forward, and it went forward pretty hard. what can i do to make it feel better? i've been taking ibuprofen, and putting ice on it for aobut 1 hour a day. would ace bandage around my knee help? or maybe a knee brace

In 2001 I had a minor operation. The next day (a weekend) my blood had ketones 4 + and was acid. Yes I had diabetic ketoacidosis. Nothing was done. (Yes I did sue and they admitted negligence) Apparently I was very close to death. My blood pressure was as stated above.
Is that blood pressure bad or very bad?
What could have happened if the medical emergency team had not worked so hard?

if lets say the metal part of the razor broke of, like a little bit of it, less then your pinky nail and went into your cut that was bleeding.

I cut myself four times on accident in a row and then I looked at the razor and saw a little bit of the metal chipped off, and i'm not for sure if it was like that before.

I have recently started having fairly bad heel pain. It hurts jus above the heel in the softs area. I recently began working out (flag football/running) however the injury didn't start hurting till about a week after my first workout so im not sure if that was the cause. I also purchased a new pair of Addidas running shoes for running, they have more arch support than Im used to but I thought this might be good. The heel portion does feel padded or soft though. Now I don't know if it is my new shoes causing the problem or whether I actually injured it working out. The pain subsides if I take Ibuprofrin. I read about Plantar Fascitis do you think this is the problem, how do I remedy this I can't hardly run. It has been about a week now.

I went to have a consultation few months back at harley medical group, (breast enlargement) it was a nurse i went to see in the Chester clinic, however i found her VERY pushy - even to the extent of her trying to book me in the very next week! i didnt like the fact that she was so pushy that i didnt go back there. I have found another surgeon through word of mouth in liverpool rodney street. This clinic does not advertise in mags and papers, had all the info through the post and he seems good. The first consultation is with the actual surgeon himself which is better. Has anyone had experience with the harley medical group, good or bad?
And has anyone had experience with clinic in rodney street liverpool?

I don't want to join Weight Watchers because it is too far from where I live. Has anyone got any stuff they can let me know about the diet. They have a whole range of weight watchers food in our local super market so im ok there but what about porridge, milk, bread, every day foods and drinks such as tea and juices. If you wouldn't mind telling me the points of these things or send me to a website that will tell me for free I would really appreciate it.
