Hi practice Aromatheraphy so try this:

BUT FIRST WARNING most oils, unless otherwise indicated, should NOT be used direct on the skin but must be diluted in a suitable carrier oil or aromatherapy base product. This is not an exhaustive list and you should always take care with any oil that you have not previously used as, although there are no noted adverse effects, you may possibly have a reaction.

ALSO - If you have EPILEPSY DO NOT USE:- Camphor, Fennel, Hyssop, Sage or Rosemary.
If you are PREGNANT DO NOT USE (particularly in the first 3 months)Aniseed, Basil, Clary Sage, Cypress, Cinnamon, Fennel, Hyssop, Jasmine, Juniper, Marjoram, Myrrh, Origanum, Peppermint, Rose, Rosemary, Sage, Thyme.
DO NOT GO OUT INTO THE SUN AFTER USING (OR USE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT) Bergamot, Grapefruit, Mandarin, Orange

NOW:-
PLEASE be on the safe side and mix any essential oils with a carrier oil. All got from a health shop and they not exspenive.

LAVENDER - muscle relaxant, soothing agent, skin conditioner, astringent.
CEDARWOOD - Antiseptic, skin conditioner, deodorant, insect repellent, soothing agent.
CHAMOMILE (Roman) - Muscle relaxant, skin conditioner. (soothing, good for dry skin. Gentle oil suitable for young and fragile).

Just mix with a carrier oil and rub gently into your lips.

dry lips are a sign of dehudration, i suggest you try and carry a bottle of water with you wherever you go and regularly drink it, and for an instant relief for now, get a facial scrub (the type with exfoliating particles) and an old toothbrush, put a small ammount of the facial strub on the toothbrush and gently brush it on your lips, this should remove any unwanted loose skin, then wash it off and apply a lip balm such as vaseline or even a bit of palmers cocoa butter!

Buy some original Blistex (or Blistese - it changed it's name from one to the other at some point). It's much better than vasaline & after 2 mins your lips will be perfect.

Get the healing one - link below.

Use Carmex (yellow and white tub). From boots about £1.99. I use it twice a day and keeps the lips very moist, also very good at preventing cold sores!!!!!

its a first sign of dehydration.
Drink at least 1litre of water daily to keep this up.
Also any lack of vitamin C shos here first, so make sure your getting enough fruit and veg in your diet.
vaseline is good, but its best to work from the inside out.

If the weather is cold, then it is quite normal. But if otherwise, then you are "heaty".

Drink some chinese herbal tea that is "cooling" in nature. Some fruit are also "cooling" in nature like water melon, oranges. Fruits like durian and guava are "heaty" and will make your condition worse.
