This is to be frank a very worrying symptom. It is included in the list of problems that occur in people who have a significant problem with alcohol. It suggests that you are experiencing issues with the effect of alcohol on your brain and nervous system.

You might consider this one of nature's ways of telling you to stop. If you are serious about doing something about your alcohol issue go see your GP. If you continue with your current lifestyle you are headed for disaster.

its because you only go out once a month that in a way causes your problem, because your body is not used to alcohol, but having said that you should still cut down on the amount you drink on the few nights you go out, because the blackouts and memory loss indicate to much alcohol in your system

You are drinking too much. Go out more often and drink less rather than going for a big binge once a month!!

Your blackouts are caused by too much alcohol.
You are binge drinking and this is damaging your brain.
Keep it up and it will probably kill you.
