Look how many deaths are caused by alcohol,
Drink driving cars / train drivers / etc,
Alcoholism, creating liver damage etc etc,

Especially with the current 'Alco-pops' targeting kids.

With so many people abusing alcohol, why are their no concerns over it??

Or does the UKs Banning of smoking in pubs help this issue??

Alcohol dependancy is a massive and growing problem.

Aside this it generally makes people aggressive. Yet the government allows TV Advertising etc etc

Apparently in the U.S more people die through Alcohol than all other drugs put together.. (O.k This is due to the fact its most popular, but hey, governments LOVE stats!)

I am currently in year 10 and have been the dux of my school(Top Performer in Academic Work) for Year 8 and 9. Everyone expects me to perform at the top and to be the best in academic. I am just so stressed out my the pressure that I have on myself, as I have to achieve top marks in everything.I don't get any time for my free time and I spend half of my time wishing that I could go back to the weekend or to the holidays so i can just relax for a while, even wishing i could got back to year 5 and 6 when I had no stress and life was fun. I have been broken up with my ex for now 11 months and I still think about my ex quite a bit. It interferes with my daily functioning. She is at the same university as I am, so that is what makes it worse. What made me flip is that she was so cold during the break up, and told me was into another guy like 9 days later. That was really traumatic. I really think that dwelling on this 11 months later is abnormal. I know I have an obsessive personality. I did take Zoloft, but this made me gain weight, however the matter did not bother me as much. I reduced the doses and the severity started returning. I know I have an obsessive personality and am prone to extremes.
Now I am on Prozac.
Has anyone been in a similar situation?
I want to know;
1) Is this abnormal - to dwell on it for so long (We were toghether for 8 months)
2) Will the Prozac help?
3) Can Prozac stabilize me, and make me productive,?
4) I am taking 40 mgs, and its been 3 weeks. Should I be concerned if i don`t see any affects?

I am thinking of doing the diet, but I want to know how it works. Do you just eat their food? What are you allowed to drink? Do you have to eat their food 7 days a week? I want to know all about this before I decide. Most of all, does it work and how fast????

It is so very moving and makes you realise just how precious life is and should be revered. Does anyone in your family have or had either of these dreadful diseases and what do you think about the government in the UK witholding drugs that can help those in the early stages of Dementia.?

My Mother never suffered with either but my dear Gran did and it was just so awful watch her deteriorate knowing there was nothing we could do, but care for her daily needs.

I have always suffered from mild cases of anxiety in social situations. I also have suffered from mild cases of depression. Is there a safe, effective, over the counter drug that anyone can recommend? I don't think my issues are serious enough to merit professional help, but I do think addressing this will make life considerably more enjoyable.
Thanks so much!
