I am almost 38 years old, unfortunatley. My grandmother who died of a stroke as she was diebetic, and my mother who has to take insulin all the time has it with complications. I had a blood test last week, but it was not for mu sugar level, it was mainly to check my Iron level, but did not realise they did my sugar as well. I just had lunch and drank soft drink, and had breakfast that morning too. It showed not fasting 4.6. How much difference would it have made if it was fasting in the morning and got it done then? I keep fit and run 4-5 days per week. I am not over weight, and do not smoke. I have good blood pressure, and pulse rate. I do not want to get the disease, even though my family history is very strong. My mother never ran or excersised much even when she was growing up. I had an athletic back ground, and like to go for my 40-50 runs most days. Can I still avoid getting diebetes.as I do not want it. I love eating chocholate excpecially cadbury ones the milk tray ones. Any

I will shortly be meeting my ex for a drink. She ended things 1 mth ago after going out 9 mths on the basis her feelings had changed. This coincided with her suffering from depression. She also suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

She raised the issue of us splitting and I said to her I thought she was depressed (she has a history). She admitted she was & went to the dr who prescribed prozac and counselling. 1 wk later she said she wasn't depressed, didn't need counselling and it was our relationship causing her unhapiness. We broke up.

I didn't contact her to give her space. She contacted me recently on the basis she owed me money. I said to not worry about that. She then said she had a dvd of mine which she could bring round if I wanted. I wasn't sure what to make of her contact

I decided to ring her to chat. We have now agreed to meet. I am not sure what her intentions are?

I do miss her & want to be with her but am not sure how to go about it witout scaring her off?

My husbands family is large and every month it seems that we are going to an uncles funeral.
I made my husband an appointment for a complete physical, and he has high cholestral.
I never fry any foods, and I have checked the labels on everything in the house and they say 0% cholsertal. Besides exercise what else can I do to help him get this down? He is also a sweets-acholic.

I started a period like 2 weeks ago. It was a Wednesday and I started taking a new pack of birth control pills the following Sunday. I have not taken birth control pills in years. I am bleeding really heavy and I am just wondering if I should stop taking the pills? Maybe they are what is making it so heavy? It does not look like it is stopping anytime soon.

It's been a while since I stopped smoking socially, but I took two cigs a while ago. Right after I went through my second stick, I felt so nauseous and started sweating profusely. My head still hurts very much right now and I think I'm going to throw up or pass out at any minute. Why is this? How do I stop it? Please give me useful answers because I have to get over this as soon as possible and go back to working on my papers.
