If you have a considerate and caring lover, you should not have too much discomfort at all the first time. You may or may not bleed, that all depends on if you have an intact hymen or not. You will not walk funny afterwards, unless you injure yourself somehow.
My first time was a very enjoyable experience, because the guy I was with knew I was a virgin, so he took it very slow. We had plenty of foreplay to make sure I was relaxed and lubricated, and then he asked if I was ready before he penetrated me.

It's awkward and scary. It doesn't feel good, but it isn't like stubbing your toe. It's more uncomfortable than painful. You won't bleed very long, like a couple minutes max. You won't walk differently, unless it was rough. It will only start to feel good if you relax, but that usually takes a couple tries. If you have these questions, you probably aren't ready yet. As long as you have doubts, wait.
