Okay I got my first ever period about 3 weeks ago. Well I decide for my next one I wanted tampons. So my mom got me Playtex sport regular sized(the yellow color thing on the box). I was wondering if they are okay for 1st time users. I have only had my period once. Plz tell me any advice for using them and if they are okay for new people. Im 13 if it helps any.

When I started to use tampons starting after 18, I chose OB tampons because I didn't have to worry about an applicator at all. I later had to stop using tampons due to medical issues unrelated to the tampon itself. I now use pads on a regular basis and the one I like the best are Always.

They would be safe.
But my experience is I do not like tampons. To me if feels so gross and like my insides are falling out when removing the tampon.
Instead I use pads. They come in so many sizes. Which is great so the do feel so big and bulky. I perfer the Always brand.

I think you should use regular size Kotex brand because it uses a plastic applicator instead of cardboard which can be uncomfortable especially 4 new users. Actually, any brand that uses plastic applicators, should work just as well... Hope this helps!.

it could harm slightly the 1st time you utilize them given which you arent used to utilising them. in simple terms be advantageous you relax all of ur muscular tissues down there, and after a on the same time as you wont sense it in any respect. the string often doesnt bypass up everywhere, and if it does it doesnt bypass very a techniques up. in simple terms sense around in case you cant see it, and you have the means to get it out. confident they are extra effective than pads as a results of fact u arent meant to sense them while they are properly in, and that they arent seen and you could positioned on them on the same time as interior the water with a bathingsuit. solid luck!

It should not hurt you. It may be slightly uncomfortable in that it is something you have never done. However, if is physically uncomfortable, remove it & try again. Discomfort is usually a sign of improper placement. If it is repeatedly uncomfortable, you may try tampax slenders (pink).
