I am planning to make this cheesecake to take to my fiance's house for Thanksgiving next week: http://www.kraftfoods.com/main.aspx?s=recipe&m=recipe/knet_recipe_display&u1=keyword&u2=ribbon%20cheesecake&u3=**1*1&wf=9&recipe_id=98313#tips.
Since it says to use a 13x9 pan I figured on putting parchment paper or foil underneath the cheesecake so that I can lift it out of the pan. However, how do I then get the paper out from under the bottom of the cheesecake? Just very carefully? :-)
Also, if I were to buy a springform pan to use instead, do you think that the recipe would be too big for a standard springform? The recipe says that this dessert is 'party-size.'
I've never made a cheesecake before, but I'm not a novice baker, so any advice is appreciated. Thanks!!!!
